NetAnalysis is a Windows based application for the forensic recovery and examination of browser history and cache data. It is the industry leading software for the recovery and analysis of Internet browser artefacts.

This product is licensed with a USB licence dongle. The USB dongle provides licensing flexibility as the software can be installed on more than one computer as the licence is stored on the USB device.

With the purchase of NetAnalysis, you also get a licence for HstEx. HstEx is an advanced professional forensic data recovery solution designed to recover browser artefacts and Internet history from a number of different source evidence types. HstEx supports all of the major forensic image formats (such as EnCase e01 or flat file dd).

Overall:

We use NetAnalysis regularly on cases involving internet history. The user interface is very intuitive and the speed and accuracy of the tool has been well above our expectations. We especially love the built-in SQL Query Builder which allows us to perform custom queries, and the detailed, customizable reports NetAnalysis prepares to present findings.

Additionally, Digital Detective support has been very responsive the few times that we needed them. They went above and beyond the call of duty and provided a quick solution to add support for a very recent browser version that we were working with. Do yourself a favor and add NetAnalysis to your digital forensics toolbox.
